The best spit roaster ever made, in my opinion, is the Flaming Coals Deluxe Cyprus spit, and I'll explain why.

Versatility: This spit roaster has a wide range of uses. It comes with a variety of accessories, such as a basket that is great for cooking chicken wings, and I can use it as a charcoal grill, rotisserie to cook roasts or gyros, or as both. We frequently use the 12 smaller skewers to cook kebabs, corn, and veggies. They are a terrific addition.

Reliable -The Deluxe Cyprus includes two motors. One each for the top three long skewers and the bottom twelve kebab skewers. The great thing about getting the 2nd motor is that in the unlikely event of one failing mid-cook you can use the other one as a backup.
