How to Cook SUPER Tasty Chicken Wings in a Cyprus Spit Roaster

A crowd favourite is chicken wings. We believe that quickly grilling them over lump charcoal is the best way! This recipe will teach you how to quickly cook a large quantity of flavorful wings.

Ingredients: 

  1. Chicken wings (8kg)
  2. Komos Q Dirty Bird BBQ Rub
  3. Kosmos Q Kickin’ Cajun Wing Dust
  4. Kosmos Q Apple Chipotle Sauce

Procedure: 

1. Take the chicken wings out of the packaging and spread them out on a big cutting board or tray so you can start seasoning them.

2. You can use as much or as little Kosmos Q Dirty Bird to season the chicken wings on all sides as you'd like.

3. Thread the chicken wings onto your skewer

4. Use your chosen method to light the charcoal; today, we'll use fire lighters.

5. Start spinning your skewers after loading them onto the spit.

6. Spray the chicken every 10 minutes to keep it from drying out.

7. Remove the chicken wings from the spit roaster once they have reached an internal temperature of 75C/165F.

8. Using Kosmos Q Apple Chipotle sauce, flavour the wings

9. For an extra flavour punch (if you like things spicy) add the Kosmos Q Kickin’ Cajun wing dust!

10. Enjoy a nice, refreshing beer while you're cooking.
