We will demonstrate today how to make a quick and easy pizza dough recipe that is ideal for your wood-fired pizza oven.

You require the following ingredients for today’s cook:

  1. 479g of “OO” Flour
  2. 287mL of water
  3. 14g of salt
  4. 15g of Instant Dry Yeast

Method:

1. Mix the yeast, flour, salt, and oil in a large bowl. When everything is combined, add the water and stir until it becomes "a little doughy."

2. To prevent the dough from sticking to your work surface when you remove it from the bowl, sprinkle flour over it.

Put flour down on your work surface to ensure the dough doesn’t stick.

3. Take your dough out, flatten it, and then knead it for 8 minutes.

4. Once you've successfully removed all of the extra air bubbles from the dough and you're satisfied with the consistency. Make your dough balls into four 200g balls with equal portions by chopping them.

Chop your dough balls into 4 evenly proportioned 200g dough balls.

5. After the dough balls have been cut, put them into your tray for proving for at least one hour. Your dough ought to double in bulk during this time.

Making homemade bread from scratch is simple, quick, and delicious! We wish you much fun creating your own!

Technique for topping and cooking pizza dough:

1. To prevent the dough from sticking to the tray while it cooks, spread polenta on it.

2. Squash your dough ball into the centre of the pizza pan, then start stretching the dough outward from the middle to the edges of the pan. Make sure to move slowly and create a pizza base that is distributed evenly.

3. Add your favourite pizza sauce on the pizza base.  Don't add too much; doing so could cause your base to become soggy when cooking.

4. Pizza toppings like cheese, pepperoni, and whatever else you like can be added.

5. Place your pizza on the tray onto the fire bricks once your wood-fired pizza oven has reached the proper temperature. In this recipe, we'll cook the pizza for half the time directly on the pizza brick and the other half on the tray. This will guarantee that the pizza base cooks thoroughly and is lovely and crispy.

6. Pizza should be rotated every 20 seconds by 90 degrees since, if left unattended, the side facing the fire will start to burn.

7. Remove your pizza from the tray and cook it directly on the pizza brick inside your wood-fired pizza oven after 60 to 80 seconds have passed.

8. It will take about 2-3 minutes to cook a pizza in the Flaming Coals Wood Fired Pizza Oven - Premium. Pizzas can be cooked in batches of up to three, however we strongly advise only cooking two at a time because they need a little attention to be spun at the proper moment.
